The challenge: eliminating system islands, streamlining processes
To provide more targeted support to existing customers, nal von minden wanted to systematically record customer histories and optimise task and appointment management, both internally and externally. Seamless synchronisation between the CRM and ERP systems was a key concern. To this end, Sage 100 ERP was introduced to replace the existing Sage OfficeLine system gradually.
In addition, the CRM system was to be used to organise pricing and price maintenance for the respective customers more efficiently, in order to facilitate the preparation of quotations. Another important goal was to ensure a smooth transfer of orders to the ERP system. Providing clear data in the CRM system was intended to increase transparency of process flows within the company.
The solution: system integration and process design
Sellmore has supported nal von minden with the CRM changeover from the outset. Joint workshops were held to analyse which data needed to be transferred from the old systems. Internal processes were also analysed and redefined during this process to ensure they were mapped optimally in the new system landscape.
Thanks to our Syncler integration platform, a powerful and comprehensive interface was created between Sage CRM and Sage 100 ERP. Syncler ensures continuous synchronisation. Regular consultations and technical coordination ensured transparent processes and contributed significantly to the project's successful completion.
The result: increased efficiency with networked systems
Around 200 employees at nal von minden now use the CRM system successfully, primarily in sales and related departments. The system maps all customer communication, from follow-ups and queries to the generation of new business. Quotations and orders are seamlessly integrated and transferred automatically to Sage 100.
Centralised data storage in the CRM system has greatly reduced the time spent on internal queries and searching for information. Prices and information on offers, invoices and other relevant data are continuously optimised to improve transparency for users and teams in the long term.
Another important milestone was establishing a connection with the Magento webshop. With Syncler, prices are transferred directly from the CRM system to Magento. At the same time, orders are automatically transferred to Sage 100 for further processing.
The marketing area also came into focus when an interface was created to connect the email marketing tool. This allows recipient groups, individual contacts and response data to be exchanged automatically between the marketing tool and the CRM system.
